PUFA Aware Tallow Skincare Line: A Sneak Peek and Updates

The Satiated Blonde

Updated: 2 days ago

Years later, I'm still using and sharing about my favorite PUFA-aware, tallow-based skincare line. The brand has evolved in looks and names recently, and I thought an update would be helpful! I also wanted to share about some other major product changes I've noticed. Side note, if you want to learn about the waves in my hair, check out this post!

Tallow Products

Sovereign Salve - Look at the update this has had! Here's holding the old labels with the newest one. Now it's made with pastured emu oil and jojoba oil, "ensuring deep moisturization and nourishment that supports skin repair, even in the harshest climates and elements." I like using this for pretty much anything and everything. It's a nice one to travel with because I can use it on my sun-kissed skin, chapped lips, massage, burns, etc...

Nourished Glow Tanning oil - admittedly, this isn't new, but it only comes out once summertime hits. It was previously called Beach Tropical Tanning Oil. It's free of high PUFA seed oils. I like how silky it is and that it doesn't absorb in right away, so I get to see that glisten, or nourished glow in the sun! It's not a sunblock and I practice safe sun exposure. I like to use this pre and post sunny days. The smell is light and naturally lightly tropical.

Lovely Lipids (reiteration) - Lovely Lipids was originally a serum that you can read about here. It is now a balm and although it has the same name, it is a completely different product. It is now a multipurpose balm with emu oil, lanolin, squalene, and beeswax. I like how straightforward and pure the ingredients are and how they're made for delicate skin. Her site says it's, "ideal for those experiencing itching, dryness, or irritation in intimate areas..." I will for sure share when I try it in the balm version! Oh, and look at those new, pretty boxes!

Genesis Ghee Balm + Serum - this was originally made in a serum. You can read my review here. Then, she decided to make it into a balm. Read my balm review here. Then, the demand was so high for the serum, she brought it back instead!

New Supplements

She now also has supplements - but they sell out fast. Liver, E, B, D, and a new oyster and pearl capsule (what a great mix)! Click my link to see all the supplements she has and my affiliate code automatically apply to save on checkout!

Sneak Peak

What's the sneak peek? Well, there are actually two! The first is that she's creating an electrolyte with sugar (instead of stevia or monk fruit, like pretty much all the other popular ones are made with). She's keenly aware of ingredients and is really great at sourcing, and doesn't settle. I've definitely found some electrolytes that I like, but to have one with real sugar?? I can't wait!!! Next, she just announced on her instagram stories that she met with a chemist to make a brand new, Kossma-created and approved make-up line! We'll have to be patient, but oh my I cannot wait for this!
