There are a few popcorn brands I like, but have been enjoying it even more since Just Ingredients came out with their popcorn salts! I'll be devoting an entire post to those soon, they are great. My favorite is their parmesan cheese - it takes me back to middle school, for some reason, lol! I like the small kernels and heirloom status of Healthy Traditions popcorn. Sometimes we'll pick up bags from a local farm, which has gigantic kernels and they're really tasty and pop well.

But my ultimate favorite would have to be from Dr. Cowan's - theirs is organic and heirloom and altogether delicious - with or without the parmesan cheese, lol. You can use my affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE on checkout to try out their popcorn or one of the many other products they have - refer to this post for more from this awesome company!

The other thing that sets this Appalachian popping corn apart is that in addition to being preservative free, beyond organic, gluten free, and supporting small family farms, check out the tasting notes from their website:

"This small and delicate Appalachian heirloom flint corn certainly handles its age with remarkable grace and taste. When was the last time you tasted popcorn that left impressions of sweet corn and honeysuckle rising from toasted corn, and a final hint of pure sweetness?"

Now, we've tried cooking the kernels in various methods, but our household favorite is the Whirly Pop, which we've also used to roast coffee (back in the day).

We like to add some melted butter in there, too! If I am not using the parmesan cheese salt, I top it with my everyday salt. (affiliate code: SB10).
