Whether they're homemade or street-style from a restaurant, tacos are quick and have really straight forward ingredients! I'm going to share a general outline of how we make tacos at home!
Here's what I like to include:
Organic tortilla made with nixtamilized corn from The Fresh Market (post coming soon)
Leftover meat
Organic black beans - ideally I like to rinse, soak, and cook my own and sometimes I refry them too - so good slathered on the tortilla!
Organic sour cream
Manchego
Goat Cheese - we can find these at a great price in a log at Costco.
Diced red onion (fresh)
Green salsa from Fresh Thyme (post coming soon) but I also like the tomatillo and avocado salsa I share about here.
Cilantro
And of course, a squeeze of fresh lime juice
