I searched for a long time before I found this leather purse from In Blu Handmade! My favorite thing is that it actually smells like leather -- even after several months! I opted for the version with pocket and zipper and both straps -- because if I'm wearing it for a long time, I want the cross body strap, but the other two make it convenient to pick up and go. I am glad I went with the large size as I can fit everything I need (and want) in here! For example:

- Hand-poured lip balms (affiliate code: NICOLE15)

- Carnivore Snax (referral code: GLENN42444); read my ongoing meat snacks review here

- Sinus Defense 2.0 (affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

- My Bible

- Notebook

- Water bottle

- Wallet (see below for more)

- And a few other items!

Purse:

I think it's stylish and goes well with casual or dress clothes, but it is large, which is what I wanted, lol. Turns out it has become more of a winter purse for me -- you'll see what I've been using this summer and for travel if you keep reading!

Wallet:

I wanted a wallet that wasn't going to be too expensive, but also something leather that somewhat matched my purse choice. This one from TJ Maxx has been great! I like the detail and the zipper on the outside allowing for extra room. It fits nicely in the purse, too.

Sling Purse:

After our trip to Hocking Hills, I realized I needed something hands-free. Cue all the sling purse searches, lol. I went with this Travelon sling. I had a few other products of theirs and I appreciate the durability, although it may not be the most stylish choice (it's not bad, though!). Also, it is a lot bigger than most slings, but with that being said, I really don't know how people use anything smaller -- unless they're only carrying their phone, license, and credit card. That is just a little too minimal for me.

It's often more convenient to put my phone in this side pocket, but it's nice to have the option for a small water bottle. Also, I prefer my phone in the front pocket when walking in crowds.

I took it with me on our trip to Dublin (not Ireland) and it was great for walking downtown. It also held up well during the torrential downpour we got stuck in (pictures not included, haha).

It has been so convenient for berry picking, too:

Sling on Sling:

This little device is easy to install and saves my purses (and other items) from ending up on the floor where I step on them and don't have as much leg room. It's just a sling for my sling, lol! It's called the Car Cache and it comes in tan and black - highly recommended!

What's your favorite purse or sling that's actually functional? Let me know in the comments! As always, #GetSatiated.
