Natural Shaving, Skin, and Face Regulars

Natural Shaving

It's been a bit since I've done a shaving essentials update. There's not too much to add, but I got the replacement razors for the reusable leaf shaver (affiliate code: SB10) - I've had this razor for a few years now and it's definitely hung in there and I really like the weight of it and of course that it's more natural since it doesn't have a strip ( I share more about that in the shaving post I linked above).

I still use and love this enzymatic body cleanse (affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE) as my "shaving gel." If you want to read more about it, check out my original post here. When I want to exfoliate, I've been using this delicate pearl micro-exfoliant (affiliate code applied upon clicking link). I share more about this unique exfoliant in this post. But, recently I've also tried this (in brown sugar vanilla + vanilla coconut) and Raw Elements All Season Moisturizing Daily Scrub Jar - I couldn't find the exact one, but this one looks similar. I like the creaminess of the first two (both scents!). The latter is too rough for my skin, so I mix with my body cleanse to go on more smoothly and not just drop all the salt in the bottom of the shower floor when I apply it. Side note, my husband and I also really enjoyed this exfoliation bar. I purchased the exfoliation/scrubs from Vitacost (not affiliated).

Finally, I had to find something for when I travel that I can pick up (because I try to avoid checking luggage at all costs) anywhere. I really like the Venus Extra Smooth & Sensitive. It gets a really close shave and doesn't irritate my skin (even though I'd rather not have the strips at the end, which is part of the reason I went with the leaf razor).

Natural Skin

After the shower I like the OG tallow body oil but during the colder months or when I just need a little extra, I'll layer on this more traditional lotion (affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE). I also keep this next to my bed to put on my hands before bed if needed. You can read all about my lotion review here. If I need a really deep slather, this is what I use. I've also tried this organic prebiotic lotion and really like it! They've added some new ones I need to try, too!

Natural Face

I've shared MANY posts (scroll to the bottom of that entry for what I think is a comprehensive list of all my Kossma posts so far!) reviewing my favorite skincare line, but here's my daily go-to's at the moment:

Wash: I've been using this Purifying Facial Cleanse (since I ran out of my usual, but glad I had this on hand!)

After shower:

1. Hydrosol- I spray on one of these or (or these when the first ones are out of stock), but my favorite is Kossma's Marshmallow Malva Hydrosol

2. While my face is still wet from the hydrosol, I slather on Golden Yolk Ghee Oil

3. With a quick follow up of Purely Potent Vitamin C Serum,1-2x.week

4. And I seal it all in with Tallow Beauty Balm
