The Milton Coffee Co. Experience

On that same visit to Georgia when we visited the Workhorse Pits crew who made our BBQ smoker, we also had the opportunity to visit another company we recently ordered from: Milton Coffee Co. They're doing something really special: making Nespresso-compatible coffee machines that use all metal parts in the internal brewing process! One of the frustrating things about Nespresso machines is that they have so much plastic, both inside the machines and out. After boiling hot water goes through all of that plastic, over time, it can start to degrade, leech into your cup, and even compromise the coffee flavor. I got this stainless steel gutted capsule espresso machine for my hubby's birthday... but we all know it's a gift for both of us! The founder, Matt Kossoff, kindly gave us a tour of their setup--and it was awesome!

The machines are fully customizable, including the different finishes you see here, plus the side panels, which can be made of wood (they had a beautiful beveled walnut), metal, or any fabric you'd like-- from designer purses to plaid material!

Check out the variety of colors and materials. Their customization options are infinite!

There are also so many specialty coffee brands available that have passed the Milton Coffee Co. test. We got a few to try at home, too, including the delicious St. Ali Coffee (pictured below).

I look forward to sharing more about our experience with the Line 1 Machine from Milton Coffee Co. upon arrival! Meanwhile, I'm so grateful we got to go on this awesome tour and get a teaser for what's to come.
