Well, it's been three years years since my first official kayak outing and they're still going strong! The pictures here are from last year and I forgot to snap one after cleaning them this year, but they look just as good...for the most part!

2 blue kayaks and 1 red one with a paddleboard leaning against tree in the grass

I'm so glad we've tried the different styles and we definitely know what our next purchase will be (whenever that comes). Mostly, so we can have more for when people come to visit because these are in pretty good shape. We've had the strap on the red one snap, but we were able to tie it back on, it just doesn't hold a lot of weight leaning on it, so it really works our hip flexors when we're on that one! The animals chewed a bit of the foam padding on the little one, but it's still totally usable.

Before and after cleaning kayak:

Even though we store them inside, it's amazing how dirty they get. I should probably clean them before winter storage too, lol. Anyways, I like cleaning them with water and dish soap. A good scrub brush and old toothbrush work well. Afterwards, I like swiping them with these nontoxic wipes (affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE) and I continue to use the EC3 Wipes to maintain them throughout the season.

If you noticed the paddleboard in the top picture, it is a blow up one and I've had it for about ten years! What a solid purchase! We haven't even had to use any patches or anything. I love it!
