Boody unboxing period underwear

I haven't used main stream feminine hygiene products for almost 20 years. I started with organic cotton period products and then tried pretty much all of the alternative product options on the market. Please note, my thoughts about these products has changed since I published about them approximately seven years ago! With the exception that I was unexpectedly out of town for multiple family emergencies in a row and had to use store-bought organic cotton products for a couple days. I do not miss them and don't want to go back although I understand the allure for traveling, emergencies, and also having some on hand for visitors at home (a recent situation that came up - glad I was able to find them, lol).

Here's my new favorite:

Boody's Period & Leak Proof Full Briefs

  • Light to moderate - These do the job and I haven't had any leaking which is amazing because I can barely tell that they're lined!

  • Moderate to heavy - I can definitely tell these are lined and like these for the evenings and overnight.

  • Overnight - There's no chance these could be worn out of the house but they are more comfortable than other period panties to wear overnight. They don't dig in, aren't super tight, and I haven't had any leaking.

All the different levels of Boody's period underwear are easy to clean. I rinse with cool water and put them in a bucket until I wash them all in EC3 Enzyme Cleaner Concentrate (affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE).

Older period underwear have leaked over time, but I'm sure it doesn't help that I've accidentally put them in the dryer one too many times which has also caused them to shrink so they dig in too much, but they can be used on lighter days if I have to.

Reusable pads

I have some organic, undyed reusable period pads that have stood the test of time. I still use them, like them, and they are in my monthly rotation. The EC3 Enzymes revitalized them, too!

What's next on my list to try? There's a lady in Canada that makes linen pads at home and that just sounds about perfect!

Read about my favorite regular kind of undies here. (post coming soon)
