In light of my recent food sensitivity results, my biggest challenge has been chocolate. I have been craving it lately--and I can have it, but no dairy. So, I found a recipe for these awesome brownies--but as you may (or may not know) I can never follow a recipe exactly. I just love putting my own twist on things, but often times, I end up overdoing it.
To be honest, I am not normally an icing fan, but the brownies I made needed a little something (just to satisfy my craving--otherwise they are perfect, but you know what I'm talking about?!).
I used three ingredients to quickly whip up an amazing "icing." Here's how I did it:
Ingredients & Directions:
1 tbsp PhiKind Organics Strawberry Coconut Butter
2 tsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Biodynamic Beet Powder (USE CODE: SATIATED BLONDE)
2 tbsp maple syrup
I put the above in the smallest pot I have and stir vigorously over a low flame until it makes a mud-like consistency. That's when I know it's perfect!
I put these on the brownies I made, but also enjoy it right off the spoon. Man, I cannot wait to make these for my family!
Let me know if you give this a try!
As always, #GetSatiated.
