I've made homemade alfredo sauce before and it is good. However, this was a last minute decision and a tasty one, at that! I have to admit the pictures don't do it justice. But this quick 'alfredo' sauce is easy to make and delicious.
How I did it:
Bake and carefully scrape out the insides of a spaghetti squash
1 cup cream and 1/4 cup of butter in a sauce pan (affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Add one pinch of salt, a generous amount of pepper (add 1.8oz grinder-top of Robusta Black Peppercorns to their cart of $15+, and enter SATIATEDBLONDE at checkout to make the item free), a few shakes of Garlic Butter Popcorn Salt, and about 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Popcorn Salt.
Warm and stir
Add liquid mixture to squash in a larger pan (affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Stir and reduce down
