Clean Cleaning Products

Updated: Jun 7, 2020

Whether I'm cleaning the kitchen floor or bathroom toilet, vinegar, water, baking soda, and essential oils have been my go to cleaning supplies for years now. The smell of commercialized cleaning products makes me cringe. Plus, do you ever get back splash in your eye when you're scrubbing? I do, and although vinegar burns, some water splashed in there fixes it for me. I don't think it'd be the same with other products.

So, what made me decide to try out Branch Basics? *USE CODE: GETSATIATED to save 10% on starter kits and laundry kit until 7/31/20!

Well, laundry is the main reason. I have used soap nuts which are natural berries that ruined our clothes. There was a stench so strong, you could smell me for miles. My family demanded I find another alternative (haha). I tried the cleanest detergents I could find, but they still contained some ingredients I wasn't fully comfortable with. Most recently, I switched to castille soap. I feel like my clothes were starting to get the same film they had on them with the berries, minus the smell. So, I knew I needed to find something else. When I saw that Branch Basics products had rating of 1 on the EWG*, I knew I had to try it! Oh, and I love the oxygen boost for the many turmeric and coffee stains I get from time to time (or almost daily, really!).

The other reason I wanted to try out this company? I still use a traditional cleaner for my mirrors. Yep, you know which one I'm talking about! When I tried the streak-free mix, that blue bottle went straight into the trash!

I purchased the starter kit plus oxygen boost. It's nice to have the spray bottles nicely labeled on hand and the concentrate lasts awhile!

*The EWG is the Environmental Working Group. I have been using their resources (like the Skin Deep Database) for years to vet my products.

Let me know if you try out this awesome company and as always, #GetSatiated.
